MU-End Of An Era (1974)

Alice Cooper-Living (Straight 1969)

Alice Cooper's incredibly rare debut 45 from 1969!

Classic 45's Revisited: The Blues Magoos-I Wanna Be There (Mercury 1967)

Most folks remember the Blues Magoos for their sideways 1966 hit We Ain't Got Nothin' Yet. However, my favorite disc by the group is this somewhat obscure 1967 single. I Wanna Be There is a heavenly dose of psychedelic pop with plenty of action in every direction. It sounds a bit like a fuzzed up version of the Left Banke blended with The Nazz. Sadly, it failed to hit. It was later included on the group's third long player Basic Blues Magoos (Mercury 1968.) This single should have been a top tenner!

Walker Brothers-The Shutout (1978)

The Bridgeport Barrage Where Are They Now? (Who Cares!)

Professional lacrosse in Bridgeport? I don't think so!

Classic 45's Revisited: The Wheels Of Time-1984 (Spin) 1967

The Wheels of Time were an Irish group and this appears to have been their only release. 1984 is a creepy, somewhat primitive disc that sounds a little bit like The Doors (unusual for a UK group.) This also brings to mind the Vancouver B.C. group The Painted Ship's single Frustration.

The Temptations-Wish It Would Rain (1967)

One of the Temptations' greatest 45's
